Major Places – Tourist Attractions

Tourism is an important avenue for the development of a region. In addition to contributing to the economic growth of an area, tourism also plays a significant role in the conservation of its natural environment, cultural heritage, and traditional art forms. Tourism investments can create new employment opportunities for local people, thereby improving their standard of living and contributing to the development of basic infrastructure.

Muzhakkunnu, blessed with abundant natural beauty, has several places that can attract visitors. Its picturesque hills rising towards the sky, lush green valleys, and the serene and crystal-clear waters of the Palappuzha create an enchanting landscape. The region's natural ponds and water bodies, dense forests, scenic surroundings, and unexplored natural landscapes add to its tourism potential.

The presence of indigenous communities, their traditional settlements, and unique cultural heritage further enriches the tourism experience. Together, these natural and cultural attractions make Muzhakkunnu a region with considerable potential for eco-tourism, nature tourism, and cultural tourism.
